SECURITY and personal information - sharing on the forum

Please note that you should keep your personal details private and only share what you are comfortable with. This goes for ANY website forum on the internet and for people that you meet in real life.



This forum is secure as any other. Although anyone can register and not all people will be 'legitimate' business contacts. Please bear that in mind when you contact other users or do business with them. If it concerns a large amount of money or private information, you should do your due diligence and make sure you know the other party.



If there is anyone you have any suspicions about, please report them immediately to the admin and proper authorities if necessary



This concern is only regarding a small minority, overall your experience will be a good one and you will meet excellent people on this forum! Use this opportunity well and don't ever let the few idiots you meet in life try to take it from you.





It has been mentioned that there are concerns about Google going through the site and picking up information. A 'block' on Google will be implemented in future should it become an issue.



Please not that the benefits of Google are that information can be shared around the web and more people can be attracted to the network.



The flip side is that anything you type can be viewed so you should avoid any comments that could cause libel issues. Feel free to express your opinions about companies and people, just keep them honest and backed up with facts.



Google or no google: Please only write about what you would don't mind other people knowing about. Use this example, if I saw this in the newspaper and others could read it - would I be happy about it and comfortable.

Anything else can be discussed via PM (private messages), email, telephone or in person with others.
